The Pickwickflock sweater is finally washed...

I just couldn't stand waiting anymore, I washed it...
Blocking It does make a huge difference opening the lace and setting the cables and stitches, wasn't such a great idea for my finger tips, anyways the sweater is ready to wear even if I think later I might play a little more with it as I might dye/paint it... as with all the snow I might be in need of playing with colours.

Dahley fingerless mittens

Not the perfect week, the flu was around and the bug did caught me, turning my brain to mush, the only productive time been use to knit those fingerless mittens.

The snow keeps on piling...

and the wind keeps blowing it around...

The pattern is from Carol Feller, Contemporary Irish Knits.
Making a nice set with last week cowl.

The popcorn cowl

I used the wasted combed fibers to spin the popcorn skein and It turned out into the perfect cowl to wear with the pickwickflock sweater/jumper.

I haven't done much this past week, the cold still goes on and the my poor fingertips did not entirely healed from the eczema so none of the projects been washed yet.

This week I worked on this cowl, Dalkey pattern from Contemporary Irish Knits by Carol Feller,
it was a very nice to knit mixing cables and lace...

Lovely pattern.

Lovely result.
